DALAMAN INFORMATION
Dalaman has been popular resort with tourists because of easy airport connections to Europe and excellent roads to other resorts throuhgout Turkey, and is fast becoming a holiday destination in its own right. Over-development and exploitation of the area is stopped by the protection afforded to the rare logger head turtles that frequent the river and beach. This should ensure that Dalaman continues to develop in harmony with its surrounding enviroment and retain its natural beauty.

Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and warm, wet winters prevails in the region temperatures are approximately 30°C in summers and usually not less than 12°C in winters. Seawater temperature is hardly below 17°C all year round.
Dalaman is now rapidly becoming an investment area for many Europeans purchasing property for investment in Turkey. This seems due to many factors including the town being designated a main touristic area from now on: plans for a marina in Dalaman and golf courses ( one of them is being completed in 2008) and international hotels (one of them is being completed and now Hilton resort hotel is under construction) and theme parks are under-construction.
Dalaman town itself has own huge natural beach, many shops, resturants, bars and tea gardens and is growing quickly due to the investment in the area. The town is ideally situated for lots of resort areas but perfect if you prefer a quieter place to base yourself. A range of activities are available for the intrepid adventurer, from golf, trips and rafting to gentle strolls in the beautiful countryside
